We all know the importance of creating an acoustically comfortable environment. Whether it’s creating productive workspaces or comfortable leisure areas, the acoustic environment is central to what we do best. But we don’t ignore the global environment either. If you are looking for an acoustic solution that offers the very best in sustainability credentials, then we may be able to help.
FabricWall is committed to a continuous process of environmental improvement and we aim to uphold high sustainability and health and safety credentials as part of our Company Mission. Firstly we are fully ISO 14001 accredited which means we have adhered to an ISO framework of environmental management. Secondly, we provide sustainable options for all three elements of your FabricWall solution, meaning you can have a finished product that is ecologically sound. Take a look at our sustainability assurances below.
ISO 14001 Accreditation
FabricWall is fully ISO 14001 accredited. This means we have met ISO’s criteria for implementing an effective environmental management system. Amongst other things, it means we have effective systems in place for:
- Waste management
- Consumption of energy and materials
- Company logistics and distribution
We offer a non-PVC version of our FabricWall track. Although PVC is one of the most widely used plastics in the world, few consumers realise that it is also the single most environmentally damaging of all plastics. As consumers become increasingly aware of its damaging effects, the demand for non-PVC products increases. That’s why we offer a PVC free version of our track system.
CFC Free Core
We offer a fully sustainable acoustic core that delivers the very best in environmental credentials. Our sustainable option of acoustic core contains no CFCs, HFCs or HCFCs. The use of CFCs has been heavily regulated because of their destructive effects on the ozone layer so our sustainable option ensures no harmful chemicals are released into the atmosphere during production and use.
100% Recycled Fabric
Environmentally conscious clients can also feel safe in the knowledge their final product meets sustainability credentials by selecting our 100% recycled fabric. Camira Lucia is a Second Nature recycled polyester panel fabric available in an exciting palette of 43 colours. Composition is 100% recycled polyester and all dyestuffs used in the production of the fabric are non-metallic.
