FabricWall was founded in 2013 by Matt Bullen and Rupert Nahum; childhood friends from Kent who have spent the last few years challenging the misconception that acoustic products are unattractive.
Matt’s background is in office design and fit-out. With an entrepreneurial spirit, Matt has always been his own boss and spent his early career creating inspiring office interiors. Ru worked in Finance throughout his 20s before changing direction and undertaking a Masters in Surveying. In 2009 Ru joined best friend Matt to bring considerate acoustic design into commercial interiors.
Through working on a range of interior projects, one thing became clear: there was growing demand for acoustic treatments in office and commercial space design. However, despite there being an array of products on the market, none of them enhanced a room’s aesthetics. The purely functional job of acoustic products didn’t marry with the design values of architects.
Matt and Ru set out to challenge the norm of unsightly acoustic panels and in 2013 started the long road to creating FabricWall – an aesthetically pleasing acoustic solution. Since 2013 they have gone from strength to strength. FabricWall now completes around 200 projects a year from single meeting rooms to complete office refurbs.
Every element of a FabricWall project is handled in-house. From initial sales enquiries and acoustic surveys to CAD design and installation – every step is managed and performed by our highly skilled in-house workforce. No one else.
Dedicated design and project management teams. We will take your project all the way from brief to completion.
